The
PA DSS Standard is an internationally recognized enforceable set of guidelines
that requires all organizations and businesses including hotels, that processes
or all type of payment cards. The primary objective of adopting this standard
is to protect guests’ or customers’ payment card details from being stolen or
compromised by hackers. Interestingly, for hotels, neither the size nor the number
of transactions happening through payment card processing can determine whether
a hotel should adopt PA DSS Certified ERP Software or not.
